We were very lucky to find Mike when we were looking for a builder to carry out a complete renovation of our upstairs bathroom. What appealed to us was the fact that Mike would complete the entire project from woe to go. He is a highly skilled builder, tiler, plasterer and painter. He communicated well, explaining the necessary processes involved and we really appreciated his advice along the way. A meticulous, organised, hard worker, and always found solutions for the 'challenges' that our older house presented. Doesn't take short cuts, very honest and totally trustworthy. And to top it off, he brings with him a fantastic plumber and electrician as part of his team. We are absolutely thrilled with our new bathroom and the quality of the workmanship. Needing to convert our 1970s en-suite bathroom into something more practical as we age and our health and lifestyle needs change, we approached Mike for his advice. He was practical and realistic about the budget and the timeframes for the work, and what we could achieve (considering the constraints of room size and the placement of the window and door). His knowledge of products available made the selection of bathroom fixtures a simple exercise.
On site, he was highly organised and cheerful, and flexible about considering any changes we ‘suddenly’ wished to consider. With support from his plumber and electrician Mike has delivered a modern, tiled, fully accessible en-suite : complete with heated towel rail, wet-floor shower, wall hung toilet and vanity unit, and appropriately placed and fixed safety grab rails.
We are extremely happy with the end result.
